Usage Both components can be blended before use (follow the guidelines of the producers (Ventraco Innovations Center / Gilsonite / Albrecht Supply Concepts) before blending.It is possible to mix the various components separately, directly on the hot aggregates in both a batch or continuous mixer. The natural hard bitumen should in this case be added as a “filler” fraction and the natural polymerized resin should be dosed like a “bitumen” at ambient temperatures (not lower that 15°C). Depending on the mix design a few seconds longer mixing time can be required. |
